From Quantic Dream’s powerful short film and tech demo, Kara. [Watch Here]

The film’s poignant concept and imagery explores the notion of what it really means to be alive, while showcasing advancements in video game cinematics and motion capture.

This is fucking beautiful

wow, simple but very effective.

I always love how tech demos always seem to have a lot of soul to them. It’d be nice to see this implemented in a game some time, though I know a lot of big name ones are coming out soon, like the new Tomb Raider one is looking pretty advanced.

also I can’t help but think of aya a little

MY HEART AH

*sees the Euro gamer icon in the corner*….PLEASE, LET, BE, GAME!

Can this please be a thing? This is…incredible. The fluid animation is one thing, how life like it is another, but the story…The intensity of it all, the pacing. I am in awe. I really hope this ends up being a game with this writer.

I may be looking a bit deep into it, but this video said a lot about not only how far we’ve come in computer animation, but also where society is. Where society could be.

Wow man…
